Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Story Line

Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas...a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers. Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets. Liberty City. Vice City. Now San Andreas, a new chapter in the legendary series.

The website for Multi Theft Auto has been updated with new screenshots from the new build (b10) for MTA: SA (which is still in the beta phase)Another post today says that the Quality Assurance team have just gotten hold of b11 and they expect screenshots from that to be released soon.

Also, another mod called GTA Rumble has been released, and is played by many members of our forums. It is an excellent multiplayer mod with many vehicles and is very smooth if you can find a decent low ping server. Download the mod from the Rumble Website, in the downloads section.
